To train to hit like a Superman do DIPS it is the best way to become super strong. And to have a punch to kill any man you hit with a single blow if you want, it worked for me. Do four sets of 25 at least. Start with three sets of as many as you can do and work your way up. When you can do four sets of 25 easy add a weight belt add up to 75 pounds. Trust me you will become the best hitter around. Its how I trained and still do. Throw in pushups chinups and upright pulls and lat pull ups you will get super strong and hit hard,

See how sore your body is afterward. If you're not sore, start doing more reps/sets, or doing the same thing more than once per week.

Try to do pushups and sit-ups at least three times per week. Jump rope more often, it's a great way to warm up for any other workout or exercise or to cool down afterward.

Your shoulders shouldn't get damaged from push ups unless there is an existing problem. They will make your shoulders more tired during your boxing workout when you combine them into one session though.

Breaking up into sets of 20 is a good idea, I always like to change things up, sometimes pushing to failure for the first set to really burn the muscles out.
