What a great boxing title fight and unification showdown we got to witness tonight! Vic Darchinyan vs. Christian Mijares had all of the making of a unique style match-up. The slick and defensive boxer puncher in Mijares against the all out, wild swinging, power puncher in Darchinyan. But I think very few people predicted this kind of outcome.

From the opening bell it was clear that this was a different Vic Darchinyan than we've been used to seeing. After suffering a knockout loss against Nonito Donaire, Vic definitely got back into the gym and put his work in.
